SIDES PHOTOS

In the early 2000s, due to the boom in construction in Manhattan, I started to notice the increasing prevalence of the shapes left on the walls of buildings after the adjoining buildings have been demolished. I casually began photographing them as I walked around the city. In 2003 I began documenting these architectural ghosts more seriously and in 2004 I began my series of artworks SIDES based on these photographs. Since 2007 I have been compiling my photographic archive of SIDES as a volume for publication.
